Game Changer Dry Rub
Created with the hunter in mind, Game Changer is an all-around dry rub seasoning that goes well on a variety of meats. Use it to season ground beef for a tangy burger or use it as an all-purpose rub on venison, elk, beef or pork. It also adds something special to chicken, quail and rabbit. We’ve even sprinkled it on sweet corn and bacon! If you didn’t think bacon could get any better, you really need to try Game Changer.
How to use Game Changer Seasoning
There really is no wrong way to use this seasoning!
When using it as a dry rub we recommended 1 tablespoon per pound of meat. Coat the meat and hand rub it into the meat. After working the rub into the meat, place it into a resealable bag, we use the gallon sized ziploc bags, and refrigerate for 8-12 hours to allow the seasonings to marry with the meat.
This rub is amazing on smoked venison ribs, well any ribs really. We like to season the ribs, work the rub into the meat and place it in the fridge to work its magic overnight before smoking.
For burgers over working the meat is not desirable so we just season the outside of the patties and let them sit for around 30 minutes before grilling.
